Our Story

Poetica Marketing was founded in 2018 by Patrick Schober with the goal of delivering high-quality content marketing services to spark long-term company growth. Over the years, we’ve dug deep into a variety of industries, and we’ve found a soft spot for real estate, music and entertainment, and SMBs. While our offering has grown to include event coordination, we’re still just as passionate—and focused—as the day Poetica Marketing started.

The Poetica Marketing Team

Patrick Schober

Founder & Creative Director

Hi, I’m Pat! After spending a few years after college as an editor-in-chief for a company located outside of Philadelphia, I moved across the state to Pittsburgh and used my skills as a writer to transition into the exciting and competitive content marketing industry.

I started Poetica Marketing in 2018, and I’ve since helped companies and professionals all over the world enhance their online presence while increasing sales!

A writer at heart and a strategist by trade, I’m passionate about creating compelling written and visual content for SEO performance and social media.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me writing the latest article for Monster Riff, catching another rock concert, or diving deep into a book.

Regina Schober

Events Coordinator

Hi, I’m Regina! After college, I worked as a freelance lighting designer around the Pittsburgh area, designing for some of my favorite shows with outstanding directors and actors in many of the local venues that truly get me excited, including City Theater, the New Hazlett Theater, and the Benedum Center.

Eventually, I found myself holding the Technical Coordinator position at Point Park University, where I managed the multi-purpose dance complex, which hosted a variety of events.

Today, I’m passionate about my work with community-minded organizations and coordinating events for the awesome companies in the Pittsburgh region.

Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking with Pat and our dog, Fallon, traveling to new towns, or bingeing the latest Netflix series.

Our Values

Since we started in 2018, we’ve been driven by four core values:

Growth & Results

Marketing and events can feel confusing and overwhelming if you’re not a professional, and we’ve had many clients who come to us because they’ve been burned or lied to by past agencies. We’re here to put a stop to that. Our client goals are our goals, so everything we do comes back to the bottom line. If we’re not performing on your behalf, we’re not doing our jobs.

Honesty & Integrity

We believe in giving our best to our clients—no matter what. That starts with being 100% honest during the sales process. Sometimes we’re an excellent fit. Sometimes we’re not. Regardless, we’ll be the first to tell you—and we’ll point you in the direction of a trusted partner if Poetica Marketing isn’t an ideal choice for you.

Family

As partners, business owners, and parents, we believe the only thing bigger than business is the people you love. And we also acknowledge that’s true for our clients as well; the decisions we make through our events and marketing campaigns have a direct impact on the paychecks for our clients’ employees and their families. With that in mind, our focus on Growth & Results becomes even more important!

Community

Marketing agencies wield a unique knowledge of impactful, low-cost marketing techniques, but so often those talents are focused on Profit & Loss Statements—not the impact on the community. Starting in 2022, we’ve decided to distribute that knowledge through our marketing and events services to some of the Pittsburgh area’s most inspiring nonprofits. Together, our team donates 10 hours a month to organizations focused on the greater good.

Our Community Involvement – 2022

In 2022, we volunteered with Food Rescue Hero to help them host their first national conference, which attracted partners from all over the United States and brought them to Pittsburgh! Learn more in our blog recap!

Our Community Involvement – 2023

In 2023, we reunited with Food Rescue Hero for their annual conference. This time, we dove deep into WebEx Events to deliver an even greater online experience while still managing an outstanding live conference in Pittsburgh! Learn more in our blog recap!
