The Station Inn is a rail-themed bed and breakfast near Altoona’s famous Horseshoe Curve. With its built-in railfan audience, The Station Inn was understandably excited when “The Big Boy”—history’s largest steam engine train—was scheduled to pass The Station Inn as part of the country’s 250th birthday celebration.
The Problem
We’d already written a popular blog post about The Big Boy’s schedule, and it was generating thousands of site visits for The Station Inn—but they wanted to capture the contact information of the railfans visiting their website through this blog post.
The Solution
We created a detailed, downloadable map of The Big Boy’s travels through Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York—and placed the download form directly into this popular blog post. Of course, we also made the map available only if the site visitor entered their email address.
