It's easy to get lost in the sea of free marketing resources available today.
We're here to help you separate the wheat from the chaff. Here are our favorite digital marketing podcasts in 2019 (so far):
1. Social Media Marketing with Michael Stelzner
You might recognize Michael Stelzner as the CEO and founder of Social Media Examiner, a major social media website. Stelzner brings a consistent stream of SMEs onto his show, all of whom have plenty of great advice to impart on listeners.
Given the title, you'd expect the subject matter to remain focused on social media, but that's not always the case. Their discussions often lead to supporting platforms and skills that are universally important, like copywriting.
Social Media Marketing with Michael Stelzner releases a new episode every week, and most episodes are about 45 minutes long.
2. SEO Podcast
The SEO Podcast is hosted by the guys over at ewebresults, and they consistently bring fresh tips and ideas both from the latest digital marketing articles and the lessons they've learned working with their own clients.
As with the previous podcast, the topics often spill beyond SEO (the ewebresults guys are proficient in many different disciplines), so it's a great way to expand your digital marketing expertise.
New episodes aren't released on a consistent schedule, but you can expect to see new content about every two weeks. Episodes are typically around 30 minutes, which makes them great for commuting, lunch breaks, or hitting the gym.
3. This Week in Startups
Hosted by entrepreneur, angel investor, author, and blogger Jason Calacanis, This Week in Startups is mainly focused on turning fledgling businesses into profitable powerhouses.
Though Calacanis is primarily a sharp businessman and investor, he's also a brilliant marketer, as many of his interviews show. Pro tip: If you're more interested in marketing guidance, check out the "Office Hours with Jason" episodes.
New episodes come out twice a week (which is probably one episode more than you'd expect from the title!). As each episode is about an hour, these podcasts are ideal for your daily commute (AM travel and PM travel), though you can whittle down the listening time if you skip over the intro commercials and in-episode ads.
